I want to thank you for your interest in this section of our web-site. I hope this would give you some enlightenment on how I believe and where my heart lies. Please read this section only if you have the time to read it in order to truly understand its full meaning. If you’re not a quick reader, you may have to remember your stopping point and come back to it later when you have the time. This thesis is not meant for those who scan through and judge without seeing the facts but for those who have patience and love to read and are looking for the truth. It is also meant for those who are unsure of their spiritual life as well as those who have a need to find themselves. Please take the time to read this section carefully before jumping to conclusion and after reading it; I challenge those who disagree with it to re-research these things that I have written or research whatever you were taught for yourself in order to find the true evidence and then draw your own conclusion. It is because of being asked a series of questions over the past few years about my beliefs concerning the what, who, how or why is why I decided to write this section of “Head Instructor’s Personal Belief”. Some people believe the myth that all Shaolin Martial Artist pray, and worship Buddha! In just a few minutes you will see my response to this as you continue reading down.
The Martial Arts:
Before I get into my beliefs, I want to first give you a quick brief fact! The martial arts were originally designed for warfare. Although the martial arts are still used for warfare today, it has through time evolved into competition sport, health and fitness while emphasizing it physically, mentally, and spiritually. War does not only apply to battle with one side engaging the other but it can also be applied to one individual who’s fighting to protect him/her-self continually from others that has the intent to harm or to take their life or their love one’s life. I believe that the martial arts, whether it is Kung Fu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Hopkido, Aikido, Jujitsu, Kenpo, Capoeira, Muay Thai Boxing, Jeet Kune Do, Ninjutsu, Kickboxing, etc. should be used for good, not evil. The Shaolin monks, who were righteous, fought to protect the weak people of China who resided in near by provinces against evil villains. There were some Shaolin monks who misused the Shaolin Martial Art and its principles to do evil deeds. Throughout time, the Shaolin monks who stood for justice, righteous beliefs, and all of its great teachings, made it part of their mission to bring the renegade monks participating in wicked acts against the people of China back to justice. The Shaolin monks in the past and present focused on the development of internal and external power for fighting, physical health, philosophy, and spiritual enlightenment of the mind and body’s harmony.
Head Instructor’s Belief
The following information is based on my views alone and does not necessarily represent Bei Shaolin Kung Fu Institute or other Shaolin Kung Fu schools, my staff, my students or instructors and coaches under me, my teachers, coalitions, organizations or any of its affiliates. All other information given is based on research of ethnic, religion, cultural, historical, and biblical findings.
Sometimes I’m asked by callers or visitors over the years about my faith and beliefs. Their concern was, do I believe in Buddha? Do I practice Buddhism or do I worship lord Buddha? The Chinese people in China have for centuries believed in worshiping Buddha. It has become a part of China’s culture, and is a way of life for most of them, as well as other parts of Asia such as Southeast Asia like; Thailand and Vietnam, the Southwestern corner of china; Tibet (Bonism), and South Asia; in India! In China, the Priest and Monks who practiced in the Shaolin Temple have for centuries followed the faith of Buddhism. Although they strive for righteousness, they pray and put their faith in Buddha, and ask him to bless them or to bless whom ever they are praying for. There are several different stories about Buddha’s birth! One story about Buddha was said that after his mother Mahamaya had a dream before conceiving her child, a baby elephant blessed her with his trunk. She traveled to her father’s kingdom for his birth but during the long journey she began having birth pains. She asked her handmaiden to assist her to a nearby grove of trees for privacy. One large tree served her by lowering its branch as support for her delivery. They say that the delivery was nearly painless even though the child was delivered from her side while gentle rain fell from the sky to cleanse the child. It is said in this story that the child was born fully awake and could stand and walk on two legs in each direction perfectly, and could clearly speak to his mother. He told his mother that he had come to free all mankind from suffering, and where ever he walked Lotus blossoms rose up in his footsteps! Another story speaks of a regular birth but both agree that a well known soothsayer gave a prediction about the king’s son future of becoming a Buddha. Buddha had an earthly father named Suddhodana who was the king of Sakhyas, and his mother’s name was Mahamaya. Buddha was born in 560 B.C. and he died in 480 B.C. at the age of 80 years old. His birth place was in the grove of Lumbini at the foot of Mount Palpa in the Himalayan range of Nepal. After giving birth to her son Siddhartha, Mahamaya died 7 days later so he was brought up by her sister Mahaprajapati who became his foster mother. Siddhartha’s name means; one who has accomplished his aim or goal. At Siddhartha’s birth, Asista an astrologist predicted to his father Suddhodana the king that, “The child, on attaining manhood would become either a universal monach (Chakravarti) a great king or even an emperor or he will abandon house and home and assume the robe of a religious monk and become a Buddha; “a perfect enlightened soul for the salvation of mankind.” Then afterwards, the king asked, “What shall my son see that will make him retire from the world?” The astrologist replied, “Four signs!” “A decrepit old man, a diseased man, a dead man, and a monk” - these four will make the prince retire from the world.” The king did everything to give his son all the luxuries of the world to prevent his son from becoming a monk as he became older, and also prevented him from interacting with men who might persuade him from remaining a prince to becoming a Buddha. He was married at the age of 16 years of age to Yasodhara, and had a son named Rahula. At the age of 29 years of age, Siddhartha Gautama had suddenly abandoned everything to follow the road to spiritual enlightenment. He had finally made it out of the walls of the palace and onto the road where he eventually found the decrepit old man, the diseased man, a dead man, and a monk. This induced Siddhartha to renounce the world because he felt that he would one day become a prey to old age, disease, and death. He also noticed the serenity and full of life personality of the monks. Siddhartha Gautama left behind his family, wealth, power, and dominion for the life of spiritual enlightenment as a monk. Siddhartha accepted several hermits as his teachers before becoming a Buddha like; Alara Kalama who he was not very satisfied with, and Uddaka Ramaputa for Spiritual instructions. He practiced Yogic, Tapas (austerities), and Pranayama (breath control) for 6 years. Determined to attain supreme peace through self-mortification, he abstained almost entirely from eating food. He later after being reduced to a skeleton became exceedingly weak. After hearing a song from a group of dancing girls passing by and hearing the lyrics, he quickly made the decision to not go through extremes in torturing the body through starvation and instead adopt the golden rule of a happy medium. Buddha later was close to his death in what is called the “Final Nirvana”. It is recorded in the Discourse Concerning the Entry into Final Nirvana of Mara (the evil one) who apparently confronted Buddha during his final days of his life. It is said that Buddha had always defeated Mara and grew spiritually each time. It is also said that the evil one could find little comfort in Buddha’s death because he had many friends on his side. Buddha died of an illness from a diet through eating Sukara-Maddavam or Sukarakanda which was prepared for him by a lady named Cundo. Sukarakanda means “hog’s flash” or “hog’s root” or something of a “boar’s flash” and it was known to be eaten by the Hindus with great joy. He was cremated at Kushinagara in Kasia to the south of Nepal. The occasion was the ceremony of a king. Each of eight clans received items of the Buddha, and after cremating him, they built a sacred cairn over their portion of the artifacts. This ritual is known as “Stupa” in India. The Stupa became the object of the Buddhist devotions, and eventually developed into “Pagoda” in Southeast Asia. Buddha’s last words were, “Come now dear monks, I bid you farewell. Impermanent are all things! Strive on with awareness! Compounds are subject to dissolution! Prosper ye through diligence, and work out your salvation.” It seems that Buddha was not the savior of mankind after all because he died and never came bake from the dead to save us! His fear of him becoming a prey to old age, disease, and death was foreseen by him, and it actually became true. I have not read in any of the stories or through his life history of Buddha advising people or even his disciples to pray and worship him while he lived or after he died. I have not seen any history on Buddha teaching about the Kingdom of Heaven on how to avoid hell and enter into Heaven’s gate! He never preached on what happens after we leave this world, and how to reach true salvation through God’s grace, and His righteousness! I also haven’t read where he could give salvation to the people although he tried to because of his love and concern for them. I haven’t seen proof that he claimed to be the way to the Kingdom of Heaven. Although I have done some research on Buddhism, I am not a follower of its faith. In other words, I do not believe in worshiping Buddha! He was born into this world, and was conceived from a man and a woman, and then died never to awake again on earth. How could I pray to a man who is in the grave and is not the creator of all things, including the whole human race? Buddha was known to be a good man of righteous belief but he is not my savior and I will never bow down to him or worship him! I believe in following Jesus Christ (Yeshua Messiah) whom is my Lord and Savior. My soul belongs to the Lord of lords, King of kings, and God of gods in whom everything comes from and in whom is the creator of us all! All human beings are gods because we were made in Gods image and in His likeness but we are made lesser than the Angels of God. He is the only true God! One God existing in 3 persons (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)! I believe in worshiping and praying to Almighty God which is in heaven. Everything known to mankind comes from Him! Jesus enforced the message of our Heavenly Father (God) and He stayed true to it. Although many people in our country also pray and worship Buddha, as for me, I will serve, pray, and worship the Lord (Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah, the great I AM). I don’t impose my beliefs upon my students. I only share it with them if they inquire and are willing to seek the truth.
I am not a Taoist! There are several kinds of Taoism. The most known, is the religious branch. It has gods, and rituals. There are also many mystical schools that follow esoteric disciplines in search of longevity and immortality; most of them deal with alchemic recipes and philosophy. Also there is a branch called tao-chia created by Lao Tzu. Taoism is rooted in ancient China’s belief when shamanism (a shaman is one who goes into an altered state of consciousness at will) and pantheism (from the Greek word “pan” meaning “all” and “theos” meaning “god”) were prevalent. Shamanism’s principle is that everything has a spirit and is alive. Pantheism was an idea developed by the Greek school of philosophy known as Stoicism (founded by Zeno of Citium (from 335-263 B.C.). Stoics believed that something was acting within them, a spirit deeply infused, germinating while developing as a seed in the heart of each separate living thing or creature that exist. The Chinese recognized Lao Zi as the founder of Taoism. Lao Zi was born in the sixth century around 570 B.C. It is questioned by some of the Chinese on if Lao Zi really existed. Some Chinese speculate on if Lao Zi was also called Lao Tan (Laodan). Elements of ancient Taoist thoughts include; the cyclic progression of seasons, growth and death of conscious beings and their endless generations, and questions about the origin of life. The Taoist philosophy is attributed to Lao Tzu as well as Lieh Tzu. It is said that Lao Tzu is the author of the Tao “way”, “road”, “method”, “technique”, “principle”, “the path” (cosmic order). The dates seem to be conflicting when you keep researching the history of Taoism. Example: Lao-Tse founded Taoism around (604-531 BC), Lao - Tzu (fl. 6th or 4th century BC) and Chuang - Tzu (c. 369 - c. 286 BC) as well as the Lieh - Tzu (compiled during the Han dynasty, 202 BC - 220 AD) is when Taoist philosophy was formulated. When you compare all the dates including Lao Zi’s birth around 570 B.C. it all becomes very questionable on what is really the truth here. If Lao Zi was born around 570 B.C. and he founded Taoism around 604 BC-531 BC, how could he have founded Taoism before he was even born? Remember, B.C., which stands for "Before Christ," is used to date events before the birth of Jesus, and is a count down to His birth. A.D. is the abbreviation for the Latin phrase “anno Domini”, which means "in the year of our Lord", and is used for dates after Jesus’ birth. Tao is known as the unseen, underlying law of the universe from which all principles and phenomena proceed. The Philosophical aspect of Taoism sounds great but I have some problems with its teachings! Early Taoism was the belief that the Tao is the eternal reality and source of all existence. The objective is for each individual to live in perfect harmony with the Tao and nature, and avoid earthly things in hopes of achieving immortality. The Tao is unknowable and unnamed and it unifies elements of all existence. Everything is in oneness with each other despite its appearance of differences. All is one with the Tao. Each Taoist has to cultivate a mystical relationship to the Tao therefore avoiding the pursuit of wealth, power, and knowledge. Once one has turned away from earthly distractions, the Taoist can concentrate on life itself and eventually reaching immortality in time. I have not heard of anyone who has practiced Taoism to ever reach the state of immortality and still be living or who has lived for several hundreds of years! The religious teaching of Taoism is quite different from its philosophical counterparts. It emphasizes morality, mysticism, magic, and ceremonies. Ancient Taoism was the original answer to the astringent debates during the philosophically fertile of the hundred schools of thought, corresponding to endless warfare during the warring states era. During this turbulent period, came the naturalistic quietism (a state of quietness and passivity, a person abandoning oneself completely to god, and the will is totally passive) in harmony with the “process” of the universe; Tao. Wei Wu Wei means “the power of emptiness, detachment, receptiveness, spontaneity, the strength of softness, the relativism of human values, and the search for long life. The truth of the matter is that there are so many things that make up Taoism as well as its conflicting beginnings. If I was to tell you a story about my life over the past 30 years and the story constantly changed over time, an attentive person would clearly see that something in what I said most not be true! The founder of Taoism had it right to believe that there is a Divinity out there existing in all things but this Divinity is way more powerful than the Tao. If I take a seed and plant it into the ground to grow a tree, I wouldn’t be the creator of the tree once it has grown in size because I’ve only planted the seed! The seed has life in it no matter if I choose to plant it or not. A seed can lay dormant for long periods of time and can even have the appearance that it’s dead but once you’ve planted it into good ground and nourish it well, that seed will start germinating, and can eventually grow into a beautiful vast tree. I can’t will that tree to live or die unless Divinity becomes a part of it. Only the Higher Divinity (the nature of God), that is above all things can control everything in the Universe (space, planets, sun, moon, stars, heavens, earth, waters, trees, plants, creeping things, fishes, and animals, etc.). I believe that this Higher Divinity (God, the Creator of us all) can only be in all things and that those who are searching after the Tao are really searching for God. There is only one God and He chose not to control mankind but instead He gave us choice to decide. He created all things, and His work is in all things created by Him but He left it up to us to take care of what He created because He gave it to us. Anyone seeking the truth concerning the beginning of life will see clearly that Taoism can not be the full truth but partial truth and therefore can not be true.
I don’t believe in Hinduism for many reasons. I want to cover this section a little broader because there are so many more Ism religions that have very similar characteristics as this one does that there will be no need to cover them all. Although some Isms are not considered to be a religion, they really are. “Hindu Beliefs and Practices” What is Hinduism? It is a conglomeration of religious, philosophical, enlightening ideas, and practices that originated in India, characterized by the belief in; reincarnation, one absolute being of multiple manifestations, the law of cause and effect, following the path of righteousness, and the desire for liberation from the cycle of births and deaths. Hinduism is a broad label and is difficult to define with any exactness, but it is used by scholars today to refer to the traditional religious beliefs of the people in India, both past and present. Hinduism is not one religion. This 'Collection of Different Modes of Worship' is in its nature, a collection of different streams of human thinking from an undated past. Hinduism has no founder, no code of beliefs; it never had any religious organization that wielded temporal power over its followers. It is said that Hindi has no actual word for "religion" - Hinduism is not a compartmentalized belief system so much as it is a way of life. It is because Hinduism has developed over the course of 3000 years that it is difficult to define, but scholars are able to distinguish several forms and stages. Among some of the categories are: Vedic Hinduism, Brahmanic Hinduism, Philosophical Hinduism, Devotional Hinduism, and Reformed Hinduism. Most people regard Hinduism as polytheistic - an idea which is both true and false. It is true that Hinduism has polytheistic elements, but it also has monotheistic (the belief that there is only one deity) and atheistic (the affirmation of the nonexistence of gods or the rejection of theism. It also defined more broadly as synonymous with any form of nontheism, including the simple absence of belief in deities) elements as well. It is difficult to describe, but polytheism (The word "poly" comes from the Greek word for "many" and "theism" from the Greek word for "god" together they mean “many gods”. Polytheism is the belief that there is more than one deity. In practice, polytheism is not just the belief that there are multiple gods; it usually includes belief in the existence of a specific pantheon of distinct deities. Within polytheism there are hard and soft varieties: Hard polytheism views the gods as being distinct and separate beings; an example of this would be ancient Greek Mythology. Soft polytheism views the gods as being subsumed into a greater whole. Most forms of Hinduism serve as examples of soft polytheism. Polytheism is also divided according to how the individual deities are regarded: Henotheism: The belief that there may be more than one deity, but one is supreme. Monolatry: the belief that there may be more than one deity, but only one should be worshiped. Kathenotheism: the belief that there is more than one deity, but only one deity at a time should be worshiped. Each is supreme in turn) is simply one way for a person to look at Hinduism. The diversity of deities provides people with variety ways to fulfill their spiritual needs. Some go further and regard all of the deities as merely aspects of a few, or perhaps of just one deity. Some go further and regard it all as manifestations of a single, impersonal ground of being – and not theistic at all. In the end, Hinduism is what one makes of it. At the heart of Hinduism is the panentheistic principle of Brahman that all reality is a unity. The entire universe is one divine entity which is simultaneously at one with the universe and who transcends it as well. Brahma (Within the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, Brahma is the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. Nevertheless, Brahma grew in a lotus out of the navel of the sleeping Vishnu. The daily alternation of light and dark is attributed to the activity of Brahma. Brahma's mind born sons are the seers Marici, Atri, Angiras, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratuj, Pracetas, Vashishta, Bhrgu and Narada. From Brahma's body came his nine sons Daksa, Dharma, Kama, Anger, Greed, Delusion “Maya”, Lust, Joy, Death and Bharata and one daughter called Angaja. In order to create the world and produce the human race, Brahma made a goddess out of himself. One half was woman and the other half was man. Brahma called the woman Gayatri, but she also became known by many other names such as Saraswati. Brahma has four heads, but used to have five. The four extra heads appeared when Gayatri was very ashamed with Brahma's love for her and tried to escape from his gaze. The tremendous tapas that Brahma had practiced for the purpose of creation were entirely annihilated through his desire to unite with his daughter. One head was lost later when Brahma lied to Vishnu and thus caused Shiva to become very angry. The four Veda's are said to have sprung from his heads. In the Life of Ganga, Brahma advised Bhagiratha to ask the help of Shiva in containing the power of Ganga “goddess of the Ganges river”) who is considered as a deity, and Creator that is continuing to create new realities such as Vishnu “Krishna” the Preserver of new creations. Whenever dharma “eternal order, righteousness, religion, law and duty” is threatened, Vishnu travels from heaven to earth in one of ten incarnations. Shiva, the Destroyer is at times compassionate, erotic and destructive. Most Hindus follow one of two major divisions within Hinduism: Vaishnavaism: generally regard Vishnu as the ultimate deity. Shivaism: generally regard Shiva as the ultimate deity. Simultaneously, many hundreds of Hindu gods and goddesses are worshipped as various aspects of that unity. Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, sometimes referred to as the Hindu Trinity. Brahma is thought of as the creator, Vishnu as the sustainer of life, and Shiva is associated with dissolution and death. Historian Arnold Toynbee once wrote: There may or may not be only one single absolute truth and only one single ultimate way of salvation. We do not know but we do know that there are more approaches to truth than one, and more means of salvation than one. ... This is a hard saying for adherents of ... Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, but it is a truism for Hindus. The spirit of mutual good-will, esteem, and veritable love ... is the traditional spirit of the religions of the Indian family. This is one of India’s gifts to the world. If that’s India’s gift to the world, I don’t want any part of it! But anyway let me get back to helping you understand Hinduism and other religions alike! Everything is God: The entire world and universe and everything within it are or is god. In other words, god is an impersonal force which makes up everything in existence. There is no difference between creature and creator as both are one. This is ultimate reality: everything is a part of a formless, inexpressible, unknowable force which is called Brahman. In the Western Hemisphere, Brahman is often called the "god force". “Brahman is all and all is Brahman”. The goal for all Hindus is to come to "self-realization." This is the realization that they themselves are Brahman. "Self-realization" is achieved when these people gain control of their spirits. The human spirit is considered to be Brahman. Yoga manuals often refer to this gaining contact with, and control of, the human spirit as a "state of god consciousness". Brahman is not a god as we think of gods. Brahman is at the same time everything and yet nothing. As you can see, by the very difficulty of trying to define Brahman, the entire concept goes against all logic, and everything in our physical world. To compensate for this, the term Maya is used. Everything is Nothing: Maya refers to the Hindu concept that everything which we see, touch or feel in our physical world is actually just an illusion, it really doesn't exist. When a Hindu reaches an advanced state of "self-realization" he has withdrawn from the physical world into the spirit world and he no longer has a conscious awareness of anything in the physical world. When this state is reached the person is incapable of caring for himself and can no longer communicate with the physical world. In the medical field in the West, he is in what is described as a permanent state of "Catatonia; a syndrome seen most frequently in schizophrenia, characterized by muscular rigidity and mental stupor, sometimes alternating with great excitement and confusion.” These people are worshiped in India and other lands as great gods, their every bodily need cared for by their worshipers as if they were babies. They never speak or move on their own. We would consider such a person to be totally insane; nevertheless, millions of people in India are now trying to reach such a state. You Keep Trying: In Hinduism, reincarnation is considered to be the "wheel" of life. The spirit never changes; it just changes bodies in life after life in an endless cycle of reincarnation. Each person dies to live again in a different form. Eastern Hinduism teaches that a person can come back as a bug or a bird or even as a plant. The New Age teaches that people only come back as people. The only escape from this terrible burden of reincarnation is to gain unity with Brahman. At that point, the person at death no longer needs to reincarnate but can continue to exist in a formless spiritual state. Pay for Your Deeds: Karma is the Hindu law of cause and effect. Every act, thought, or word produces an effect. Since these "effects" cannot all be experienced in one life time, then the person must continually reincarnate to live out the effects of his acts in previous lives. However, it is basically impossible to live without doing acts of some sort which then produces more karma which must be lived out in future lives. It is a never ending cycle from which there is no escape. Therefore the attainment of a state of total inactivity or withdrawal from the physical world helps bring this vicious cycle of karma to an end. There is no forgiveness in karma; each person must suffer for his own deeds. Yet, at the same time, the god-force called Brahman is everything, and therefore is both good and evil. There is no acknowledgment of sin as such. Escape into Nothingness: There is only one escape from this whole terrible unending cycle. That is into a state of nirvana. Nirvana is similar to our concept of heaven except that it is not a definite place. Rather it is a state of being. It is nothingness which is considered to be a blissful absence from feeling either pleasure or pain through the pure extinction of personal existence. When this state is reached, the person is then said to have been absorbed into Brahman or pure being; a state of nothingness. Only by reaching a state of nirvana can a person escape at last from the terrible cycle of having to live out his karma in endless reincarnations. Demon Gods: There are naturally thousands of Hindu gods; as everything, and everybody is god. However, there are a few that receive more worship than others. One of the main gods is called Shiva. Shiva is a god of destruction who has a wife named Kali, the mother goddess of power, illness and death. Shiva is represented in drawings as having a cobra coiled around his neck or head. The serpent or cobra is worshiped extensively throughout Hinduism. It is not unusual to hear Shiva referred to as a "god of light" by various yoga teachers. They represent Shiva as something very desirable. Yoga students are taught to "reach for Shiva” or “reach for light". The average western yoga student has no idea of whom or what Shiva really is. When they reach out to the "light of Shiva", they are reaching out to a demon god. Hindu Escape: Various practices are faithfully followed in Hinduism to enable a person to more quickly reach the state of nirvana and to escape from the endless wheel of reincarnation. Yoga and meditation are the two most important tools of Hinduism. The word yoga literally means "to yoke" or "bind together". The goal of yoga is to blank out the mind, stop all movement of the body, cut off all sensation of the physical world, and thereby attain union with Brahman in a state of nothingness. The various yoga practices are specifically designed to induce a trance state of mindlessness which is presumed to draw the person up into a union with Brahman. What is actually happening is that as the person meditates to blank out his mind, he is opening himself up to the entrance of demons. These demons then give all kinds of experiences in the spirit world, and the link between the soul and spirit is forged. Many experience astronomical projection and direct contact with demons which masquerade as the various Hindu gods. Please understand, Spiritual Yoga is for one purpose only; a union with Brahman. It cannot be separated from the demonic religion which created it. There are so many ways that demons of darkness can show themselves for example; an evil spirit possessing someone’s body, someone who is always angry and don’t know why, someone who doesn’t care about anything or anyone, someone who has hate and envy in their heart, someone who is attracted to violence of any kind, etc.. The only way a wicked spirit can be allowed inside a human’s body is if a person invites that evil spirit into their life. This can happen through things associated with demonic activity or connections such as; hanging pictures and images of other gods and demons on their walls or furniture, reading witchcraft, and horror books, playing demonic games, watching witchcraft, and horror movies, listening to hate music, worshiping and praying to other gods and spirits, studying and practicing the art of supernatural illusion or dark magic, lusting after children or pornography, etc.. Why focus your mind on reincarnation when it is uncertain? Since you know that there is no forgiveness in karma, why focus on karma when each person suffers for their own deeds? Why focus on Brahma when he is considered to be both good and evil? Why would you want to spend an eternity in Nirvana when it is assumed to be a place of nothingness? If we have ever once been so bored in life whether from not having anything to do or through loneliness; we know that it was a very unpleasant feeling that made us to not ever want to go back there again! A place of nothingness would be a very boring and lonely place to live out an eternity! In Judaism and Christianity we have a similar demonic spirit that is described like shiva as having an appearance like a snake and not only does he crawl on his belly but he can also walk and talk, and do anything you allow him to do. He masquerades as if he’s good but he’s really evil, and he’s very manipulative too. We know him as satan and we don’t give him any kind of power over us. There are many people looking for salvation, and there are many who aren’t. Most people come to the conclusion that there has to be something important about seeking and attaining salvation but they don’t know how to attain it so they search for many different ways or roads in order to get there but never reaching it. Many follow after different religions hoping to reach it but are never satisfied. It’s not something that’s hidden from a certain group of people, and it’s not hard to find! Everyone who truly seeks the truth will find it but once you find it, you must accept it. The Hindu people are right to believe that there are many demons but the hundreds of gods they worship and believe in are in fact also demons and not gods at all but they are a god to that person. They were right to believe that demons exist but they also seek to take their souls. They are evil spirits that seduce people into first focusing on religion and the demon, and then pursuing after other things connected to them. A person would have to really question their mind to consider giving up their life to become a voluntary vegetable for someone else to look after, and no longer have a purpose for life! The truth is that there is only one God. This one God “Yahweh” is the creator of the universe and everything known and not known to man. How could our lives be just an illusion, and how could the creature be equal with the Creator? If a person was in the water and a shark attacked him, and it gnawed off his arm and swam away with it; how could you ratify to that person in believing that it was just an illusion when in reality the physical and emotional pain is there, and he will never get that arm back again in this world? If I make a drawing on paper; how can that paper drawing be equal to me as its maker? I made it so I can destroy it just as easily as I created it. That is the same way with God in Heaven. God is our creator and just as He created us, He can just as easily destroy us but that is not His will or desire. God’s desire is for us to be with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven that He prepared just so we could dwell there and have riches beyond measure with Him that we never have to worry about dieing or having sickness and disease ever again. We never have to experience pain, suffering or living in darkness ever again. God loved us so much that He manifested a part of Himself into flesh, and became the Son of Man but also the only begotten Son of God. His name is Jesus Christ. He came to save us from the evil spirits of darkness, and from all the sins of the world. He gave us the Good News about the Kingdom of Heaven, He healed sickness and diseases, He raised the dead, and He fed thousands of people with just a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread. He came over 2000 years ago to prove Himself to the world to show us who He really is, and He gave His life for the world for the remission of our sins but He rose from the dead three days later so that the world would know that He really is the Son of the only living God. Before Jesus left, He said that He will not leave us comfortless or as orphans, and He said, I will send the comforter unto you. The Comforter is the Holy Spirit of God! To have true salvation is to be saved by someone of high divinity who can save us from the evil or wicked one, and demonic spirits of the earth. Jesus is our Savior and He promised that He’s coming back when we see an increase of these things; knowledge, earthquakes, flooding, tornados, famine, pestilence, rumors of war, promises of peace, and nations rising against nations, etc. Jesus said these things must come to past first and He also said, many will come in His name claiming that they are the Christ “Savior” but believe them not. Jesus also said they will show marvelous signs and wonders that would fool even the elect of God’s people if it were possible. Jesus is the only way! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the light, no man comes to the Father but through (by) me.” In order to receive the Kingdom of Heaven, you have to accept Jesus Christ into your life and confess with your mouth that He is your Lord, and Savior and you will be saved. He hears all things so He will hear you where ever you are whether you say it out loud or in your mind. You must forgive all those who have ever wronged you in the past, and repent for your sins, and after doing so ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins and He will. Believe by faith that He is everything He said He is, and live for Him. Ask Jesus Christ to teach you how to live the life that He has for you, and read the Holy Bible (Bible is the abbreviation of-Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth). I pray that God our “Heavenly Father” will lead every Hindu believer and the world to Him. You can only have true salvation through the love of Jesus Christ.
Over the last few years there were a few Catholics who tried to induce me into believing in the Catholic faith. I like the fact that the Catholics believes in Jesus Christ. They agree that Jesus is the one who started the Catholic Church when He was 33 years old in the flesh, and that His disciples continued the teachings through the Catholic faith with Saint Peter being the one who helped set the standards. If they truly believed that too then why not keep the focus completely on Jesus Christ who is the real Savior of the world? I do truly believe that Jesus started the first Church because every where He spoke, He drew a multitude of followers who wanted to hear the Good News that Jesus was speaking about. I can’t say that Jesus was the one who said the name for the Church will be called “The Catholic Church” or “The Roman Catholic Church”. I haven’t read any scripture that actually validates during the time Jesus was spreading God’s Gospel; He mentioned the Church will be called this name or that name. How ever, I do believe that St. Peter, who was the disciple of Jesus Christ, established the first Catholic Church but I can’t say that it was the first or only Church that he and St. Paul established during that era. If I love a family member more than my life and they died, (as the saying goes; “worshiped the ground they walked on”) and If I decided to pray and worship them then I would have made them a god whether I realized it or not! (Other then deity, “Worship” can also mean; to love, admire, or respect somebody or something greatly and perhaps excessively or unquestioningly. It also means; great devotion: great or excessive love, admiration, and respect felt for somebody or something.) Our late Bishop Gilbert Earl Patterson of Church of God in Christ COGIC is revealed as being a Saint of God but he would be very disappointed if all who followed him turn around and worshiped or prayed to him rather than our Heavenly Father. Bishop Patterson made it clear to us before he passed away that we need to lift up our Father in Heaven rather than him. When we keep the focus completely on Jesus we are also keeping the focus on our Almighty Father in Heaven! Catholics worship and pray to Mary (the earthly mother of Jesus), as well as other Saints even though Jesus taught us to pray to our Father which is in Heaven. It is good that the Catholic Church honors Mary in their prayers but I believe that all prayer should be directed to God only. We have for generations honored Mary when we speak of the Nativity of Jesus Christ, and how He became flesh. God doesn’t need His Saints to bring Him our prayers because He knows what we need and want before we even ask for it but God does send His Angels down to bring us the answers to our prayers or He will do it directly through dreams or visions, etc.. I have not seen any scriptures in the Bible where God asked us to chant in prayer repetitiously to Mary in order to honor her. In fact, the Bible gives us warning concerning vain prayers. Matthew 6:7 "When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered only by repeating their words again and again. 8 Don’t be like them, because your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Although I do agree that we should honor Mary, we have to be careful not to put her up there with God! In the Old Testament God said, “for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God” and He has every right because He created us! Mary accepted the greatest gift God could ever give to mankind once He manifested His Spirit into her womb, and became God in flesh “the Son of man” and who is also the “Son of God”. Christians have for generations upon generations remembered Mary but it wasn’t God’s intention for mankind to pray to her or put her up there with Him. This is what it says in; Luke 1:28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Mary said this in; Luke 1:38 Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her. And she said in; Luke 1:48 For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant; For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed. If we pray in order to really understand the scriptures as we study, we could clearly see that the Angel (Gabriel) of God did not say that Jesus will be called the Son of Mary. And Mary did not say that “from henceforth, I will be known as the mother of God.” Instead, you can clearly see in scripture that she always humbled herself in the face of God especially when she refers to herself as the “lowly maidservant.” She never gave any indication for people to follow her as they do Jesus Christ or she would have done that while He was still with us in the flesh here on earth. I believe that if Mary was alive on earth today, she would be very displeased with the leaders who have taught their followers to focus on her as much as they do on Jesus Christ. Here is another way of looking at it! Mary was the vessel, apparatus or incubator that God used to put a portion of His Spirit (His only begotten Son) into in order to become flesh. Although Mary carried Jesus in her womb, she was not His mother because He new her before she was born. Mary had never been with a man but she was not without sin because we are all born into sin due to the temptation of Adam and Eve that caused the fall of man which became the first sin of mankind. Jesus was the only one who came into this world without sin because He came from God and not from man. According to scripture in the Holy Bible, it mentions that Mary is the new Eve but it does not suggest anywhere that we should worship and pray to her or to ask for anything in her name (not to say that Catholics do ask for anything in her name; it is only an illustration of Mary vs. Jesus Christ). Mary is not equal to God nor does she come from God but she was created by God! All history and Biblical Scriptures including the Jewish and Islamic faith, even though they dislike one another, they know that the original scripts of the Jews which is the Torah (the Pentateuch in which the first 5 books of the old testament in the Holy Bible comes from), the Tanakh (all of the Jewish Old Testament scripts/books; includes sections called the Torah, the Kethuvim or "The Writings." The TaNaKh is an acronym of the Torah of The Nev'im or "The Prophets,"), and the original scripts of the Islamic faith (the Quran, in which I don’t believe in) teach us not to worship or pray to no one but God “One God”. There for, I don’t believe that the disciples of Jesus would teach a message that would contradict what Jesus Christ taught or the Commandments of God! God is never changing! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! Jesus is the New Adam and He will come again very soon! 1 Corinthians 15:45-47 And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is the spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterwards that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven (our Almighty Heavenly Father; God). Most Christians whether Evangelical or Catholics believe in the rapture! Matthew 24:41 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Why do we believe that as soon as we die, we go straight to Heaven? The word Rapture is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible because it was summed up in one word by Christians to identify the many Bible references that specifically speaks of people being taken up by God in the End Time. Over time there have been many deaths or near death experiences by people who have gone into Heaven or hell and came back into there bodies and lived to tell of their experience. I believe this was done by God to open up their eyes that they might believe. I believe this was similar to what John (the last Apostle of Jesus Christ) experienced when the voice of God said, “Come up hither” and after he had saw all those things his spirit returned back into his body. When you discern this analogy to the Saints during the time Jesus ascended back to heaven, the first resurrection had already taken place but the second is yet to come. This is what it says in the following scripture; 1 Corinthians 15:50-55 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory. Oh Death, where is your sting? Oh Hades, where is your victory?” 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Since God made sure that these scriptures were mentioned numerous times in different ways in the Holy Bible, why not see these prophecies, warnings, and signs as being literal just as we take what Jesus told us about how to recognize the end time as being literal? When Jesus gave up His last breath on the cross, He went into hell to gather up all of His Saint of old. That’s was when many people saw the countless Saints coming up out of the graves (this was the first resurrection of Saints) but what about the other disciples as well as Paul, and the earthly mother of Jesus who were still alive at that time? They all eventually died and were laid to rest! If know scripture is the infallible Word of God then we must understand that when we pray to the Saint, we are actually praying to those who are still asleep (dead). The study of Theology (Religion, Philosophy, Ethnography, History, Science, Nature, etc.) is great to have as an educational background and knowledge of Biblical history etc. but at the same time it can be a hindrance to man kind if we go by our on point of view and not God’s perspective view. We have a habit of relying on our morality instead of God’s morality that we look at scripture and try rationalizing its meaning to suit ourselves instead of seeing it for what it’s really saying. There are no scriptures that exemplify any of the Saints ascending into Heaven to be with God after they’ve died but there are plenty of scriptures that illustrates that we all will be judged for how we lived our lives when Jesus comes again, and that we will be taken up at that time! I know many Christians believe “to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord” but that is man’s interpretation and not what the scripture is really saying. This is what it actually says in; 2 Corinthians 5:6-10 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst (whether) we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: For we walk by faith, not by sight: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. Wherefore we labor, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. We have to be careful not to do or say what suits us best but instead focus on what the scriptures are really saying to us. Although there are a few editions of this quote from Paul, they all have the same exact meaning. Although it would be great if we did; it doesn’t say that we will instantly appear in heaven with our Heavenly Father when we die but it does say we are “willing”. Therefore we have to be mindful not to make the Saints into a god by praying to them. We have to wait on the Lord our God in Heaven to take us up. I will never worshiping or praying to someone who is not responsible for the creation of the world; the firmaments, waters, earth, and all the elements in the earth seen or unseen, animals, and mammals (which includes us as the human race). I have a cross that is considered to be a nice piece of jewelry to most people but I sometimes ware it to show my love for what Jesus did on the cross for us when He died for our sins. He didn’t have to do it but He did it anyway because He loves us. I also ware it as a means of talking to others who are inquisitive about why I ware it. It gives me the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them but I don’t need it to communicate with God. I am a living witness that He has stood by His word in what He’s done in my life. I know He hears my prayers because He answers the majority of them and for the ones I thought I wanted God to give me; let’s just say I’m grateful that He doesn’t always give us everything we think we want. It turned out that God knows exactly what’s best for us, and what can be a hindrance down the road. We are always tested by God for our loyalty to serve only Him; God doesn’t always answer my prayers right when I want Him to but He’s always right on time, and He has never failed me yet! Is it morally right if I used my favorite jewelry as a connection for praying to God or if I used it to worship Him? God forbad us in the Second Commandment of the Ten Commandments not to make graven images, and He destroyed cities and tribes for it. Catholics believe in using images to help in their prayers. Their account for the images is that it helps them remember the Saints of God just as we would when we take a photograph of someone we care deeply about in order to preserve and remember them for the rest of our life. I have a problem with that rationality because of the immense dissimilarity between the two. Simply put, we don’t use the photos of our loved ones to pray to God; we just preserve them so that they can be viewed when ever we want. The word rosary comes from Latin idiom and means “a garland of roses”, the rose being one of the flowers used to symbolize the Virgin Mary. The rosary is the devotion in honor of the Virgin Mary. It consists of the; one Apostles’ Creed (Credo), one Our Father (the Pater Noster or the Lord’s Prayer), three Hail Mary’s (Ave’s), one Glory Be (Gloria Patri). Although I like the rosary, I believe it should be used to attract people to God, not for the use of praying to God. If any Catholic believer lost everything including all idols and images that they use as a contact or connection to God, they have to realize that it is the spirit that’s within us all (what God breathed into us and what gives us life) is what gives us that real connection to God. It doesn’t matter where we are, where we go, what we have or what we’re going through, God will here our prayers no matter what because He loves us all. As infants, we came into this world with nothing, and as children or adults we will leave this world with nothing! Although many of us may bury our fine gold and jewelry with us, and may ware our finest clothes to the grave; from dust we were formed, and back to dust we shall go less we be taken up in an instant through the Holy Spirit of God. I believe in the Old Testament of Moses and all the Prophets who wrote, witnessed, and taught on the coming Messiah, His crucifixion, His ascending back to Heaven, and the New Testaments of Jesus Christ. Jesus knew that He came to lay down His life for us in order that we might be saved by His grace through faith for the remission of our sins. No one else can ever take His place! I believe in One God existing in three Persons, and I believe God was talking to Jesus Christ (who is I Am, and is the Son of God), and the Holy Spirit when God the Father said, “Let us make man in our image and in our likeness”. Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Since nothing was made accept the things God had created in the first five days of His days (one of God’s days is like a thousand years of man’s). Jesus the person of God who came to earth to set the captives free from sin, to heal the afflicted, to teach us about forgiveness and repentance, to show us how to live a righteous life in God’s eyes, and how to seek after the Kingdom of Heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of the Father which is in Heaven interceding for mankind to seek the Kingdom of Heaven. This is what it says for those who manipulate the Word of God in; Revelation 22:18,19 says, "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." One can take this meaning to only be for the Book of Revelation or for the Holy Bible; either way, it is very risky to manipulate the Word of God. I’m not saying that it is wrong to be Catholic! In fact, I believe that there are some things that can be learned from the Catholic teachings but I also know that the Catholic faith need to consider going back to the original scripts of Moses and all the prophets of God, the original writings of the disciples of Jesus Christ, and holding true to God’s Law. I truly believe that all power is in God’s hands and not in man’s.
I am not Jewish although I truly love Judaism and the fact that if it wasn’t for the Jews, there would be no Christian faith. As Jesus Christ (Yahshua Mashiack) said, “salvation is of the Jews!” Yahshua was a Jew. Which simply means; if it wasn’t for the Jews or Yahshua Messiah “Mashiack”, we (the Gentiles, Greeks, etc.) would be lost in our sins and condemned to sh’ol (sheol, hades, hell) and die without hope of ever entering into the Kingdom of Heaven “God’s Kingdom” but it was because of God’s (Tetragrammaton or YHWH or Yahweh means Almighty Father in Heaven) (El- Shaddai meaning Almighty God) (El ‘Elyon meaning God Most High) good grace that He sent His only begotten Son “Yahshua is His Hebrewic name” to show us the way to the Kingdom of Heaven. Yahweh is the God of Abraham “Avraham”, Isaac “Yitz’chak”, and Jacob “Ya’akov”. Most Jews have been taught not to mention God’s actual name so they replaced His name with Hashem which simply means“the Name”). After Israel’s “Yisra’el’s” exile in Babylon in 6th century BC and from the 3rd century BC and forward on, Jews ceased to use the name YHWH or Yahweh for two reasons; As Judaism “Y’hudaism” became a universal religion and converting through the Greco-Roman world, they used “Elohim” more commonly which means "god or God". They tended to the name “Elohim” in order to replace Yahweh’s name as a demonstration of universal sovereignty of Yisra’el's God over all the others. At the same time, Elohim was increasingly regarded as too sacred to be uttered; it was thus replaced vocally in the synagogue ritual by the Hebrew word “Adonai” meaning "lord or Lord or my Lord". Although Adonai has been used by many Jews in the past it is still used by many today as the name for God. Adonai is a generic word that was replaced for Yahweh’s name and is commonly used to identify a master or ruler or someone who has power of royalty. It was Yahweh’s intention for the Jews to lead HIS WORD to all the nations of the world. Abram “Avram” became Abraham “Avraham” after Yahwey saw his loyalty and obedience to Him. Yahweh made a covenant with Avraham and told him to send up a blood sacrifice burnt offering to Him. Yahweh told Avraham that he would have a son and to call his name Isaac “Yitz’chak”, He told Avraham in; “B’Resheet” Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all families of the earth will be blessed.” (This blessing is for the whole seed of Avraham; the Jewish people but everyone on earth who blesses them will be blessed). Although Avraham’s first son was named Ishmael “Yishma’el”, Yahweh said that His promised people would come from Sarah and not from Ha’gar; Sarah’s maid but that Yishma’el would still be blessed. Yahweh showed his miracle through Sarah; even though she was 90 years old and barren, she was able to have a child of her own. Yahweh told Avraham and Sarah that they would have a son and to call his name Isaac “Yitz’chak”. Avraham and Sarah later had Yitz’chak, and from Yitz’chak came Jacob “Ya’akov” who later was given the name Israel “Yisra’el” by Yahweh! Generations had later past when the children of Yisra’el sinned after being freed from the horrific acts of the Egyptians while in the bondage of Pharaoh. They murmured and complained to Moses “Moshe” saying, “We wish Yahweh had used his own hand to kill us off in Egypt!” They said this because they blamed Moshe for taking them into the desert and through the wilderness so that they could starve to death. They wanted to go back into bondage with Egypt because they at least were eating better! What they didn’t realize was that Yahweh was teaching them patience, and to trust in Him! If they saw all the miraculous signs Yahweh had done through Moshe, they should have known that He would not lead them to die. Even when Yahweh fed them Manna from Heaven, they still complained because that was all they had eaten for a while. When they had gone through the desert for days and had finally ran out of water, they complained again to Moshe saying, Yahweh brought them out into the desert to die of thirst. It was because of their complaint that they cause Moshe to sin against Yahweh. In; B’Midbar or Numbers 20:7-12 "And Yahweh spoke unto Moshe, saying, “Take the staff, and assemble the community, you and Aaron “Aharon” your brother; and before their eyes, tell the rock to produce its water. You will bring them water out of the rock and thus enable the community and their live stock to drink. Moshe took the staff from the presence of Yahweh, as he commanded him. But after Moshe and Aharon had assembled the community in front of the rock, he said to them, Listen here, you rebels! Are we suppose to bring you water from this rock?” Then Moshe raised his hand and hit the rock twice with his staff. Water flowed out with abundance, and the community and their livestock drank. But Yahweh said unto Moshe and Aharon, “Because you did not trust in me, so as to cause me to be regarded as holy by the people of Yisra’el, you will not bring this community into the land I have given them.” The children of Yisra’el sinned greatly after making a pack with Yahweh! They made a covenant to serve and worship only Yahweh but they turned around and broke that covenant while Moshe was upon the Mountain of Si’nai for 40 days to receive the Ten Commandment “The Ten Mitzvot” Law from Yahweh. They rebelled against Yahweh by making a god image out of gold in order to worship it! They wanted to worship a god they could see, and feel! We learned the consequence of that when Yahweh had slain those who refused to follow Him through the remaining children of Yisra’el who were loyal to Yahweh. Even after that, Yahwey made the children of Yisra’el wonder through the wilderness for 40 years until all the elders including Aharon and Miriam had passed away. It was Joshua “Yashua, the new leader after Moshe” who led the children of Yisra’el into the land that was promised by Yahweh. Not even Moshe was able to enter into the Promised Land! Because of the sin that Adam and Eve “Havah” had done, Yahweh made a covenant with Avraham to bring forth a Messiah “Mashiack” through his seed because he was faithful and obedient, and was Yahweh’s friend. In “B’Resheet” Genesis 22:1-13 Yahweh left the world a sign. It is a sign of the blood offering. Yahweh had planed to redeem the sin that Adam and Havah had done when they were tempted in the garden and ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil; they ate the forbidden fruit Yahweh warned them not to eat. Adam and Havah were the first human beings Yahweh created and put over the Garden toward the East of Eden. Yahweh told Avraham to sacrifice his only son up to Him as a burnt offering. When Avraham and Yitz’chak had made it to Moriyah, Avraham bind Yitz’chak’s hands and laid him on the altar to be sacrificed unto Yahweh. When he took out his knife and raised it to slay Yitz’chak, the angel of Yahweh stopped him and said, “Don’t lay your hand on the boy! Don’t do anything to him! For now I know that you are a man who fears Yahweh because you have not withheld your son, your only son from me.” Avraham raise his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in the bushes by its horns. Avraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering in the place of his son. In “D’Varim or Deuteronomy 18:14-19 Yahweh spoke through Moshe of a prophecy of someone like Moshe who will be raise up through Avraham’s seed! Yahweh used Moshe to help free the children of Yisra’el from bondage because they had cried out to Him for years and He heard their cry! Through the Rod of Yahweh Moshe and Aharon turned water to blood, caused hail to fall from the sky, sent frogs, flies, and locust upon Egypt, caused cattle to die, darkness to cover Egypt for three days, and every first born to die in order for Pharaoh free Yisra’el from bondage but He also destroyed Egypt’s first born because He remembered that the Pharaoh before Ramsey had murdered all the babies of the Yisra’elites, and the residing Pharaoh had made the threat to do it again. The Jews today can no longer send up a burnt offering for their sins so Yahweh sent His only begotten Son to die for their sins and ours. Yahweh left the Jews a way to offer up their sins to Him in repentance after He told them that their burnt offering was know longer accepted by Him. Here is a key sign that Yahweh left for His nevi’im, and for the whole house of Yisra’el. Through the trial of Avraham; Yahweh telling Avraham to sacrifice his only son represents; Yahweh sacrificing His only begotten Son “Yahshua”, the ram represents; Yahshua who is the Lamb of God, the horns on the rams head that was stuck in the bush represents; the crown of thorns on Yahshua’s head, the blood of the ram that Avraham spilt before offering the ram up represents; Yahshua giving His blood for us, the ram that was presented up for a sacrificed in the place of Avraham’s son Yitz’chak represents; Yahshua sacrificing His life for us in our place in order that we might be saved by His grace through faith and no longer by the Law. We still have to obey the Law of Yahweh but we’re just not saved by the Law. Yahweh would not allow Avramham to offer up his son as a sacrifice because He would offer His only begotten Son “Yahshua” to take Yitz’chak’s place, Yisra’el’s place, my place, and your place. Although there are many Jews who believe that Yahshua is really the promised Mashiack, there are a great many more that refuse to believe. Most Jews believe that Yahshua did a wicked thing by creating His own religion. Yahshua did not come to take away the Torah or the Tanakh but to fulfill what was prophesied by the Tanakh nevi’im, and to add to the Word of Yahweh for the preparation of what was to come concerning Yisra’el, and the world. In fact, everything Yahshua had done supported what the teachers and Tanakh nevi’im were saying concerning Him. The New Testament was meant not only for the Gentiles, Greeks, etc. but mainly for the Jews since they were the original teachers of Yahweh’s Word. Yahshua is the only one who fulfilled everything all the nevi’im spoke about except for three things. Those three things were promised to come in the end time. In fact, when you look at everything that Yahshua prophesied about over 2,000 years ago, and compare it to what He said would come to pass even in our present time; you can see clearly that He foresaw everything that’s happening now in the world! There are several names accepted by the Jews for who the Christians know as Jesus Christ. The name Yeshua is an Aramaic translation of Yashua or Yahshua and is a variant of “Y’hoshua” or “Joshua”. In the Tanakh, nine people also had the name Yeshua which is also translated as “Jeshua” or “Jeshuah.” From the Septuagint, the name was brought over into Greek as “Lesous” and then into the English Language as “Jesus” which means “YHVH Saves”. It is also the masculine form of Yeshu’ah which translates to “Salvation”. Yeshua’s name was changed to “Yeshu” calling this His real name. Yeshu is a Hebraic name for Yeshua which was renamed by some of the past Rabbis sometime after His crucifixion and resurrection to avoid the implication of Him representing "Salvation." The last letter “a” having the "ah" sound of His last four-letters of “shua” was dropped, and the first three letters are used as an acronym for: Yimach SHmo V'zichrono, which means, "May his name and memory be blotted out." The “Ya” or “Yah” has the same meaning which implies Yahweh. His birth name is Yashua or Yahshua which means "Yahweh is Salvation". Although there are many people with the name Yashua or Yahshua, there is only one who fulfilled most of the prophecies of Moshe and the Tanakh “Nevi'im”. Because the Son of Yahweh loved us, He sacrificed Himself for all of mankind; No man can take His life from Him except He lay it down. In the 6th month, Yahweh sent an angel named Gavr’el to Mary “Miryam” to inform her of what He was about to do. The angel told her that she will have a son and she is to call his name “Yahshua”. After Miryam accepted Yahweh’s will; the Son of Yahweh was deposited into the womb of Miryam (she was a virgin woman who Yahweh favored above all other women) who was from the seed of David, and was espoused to Joseph “Yosef”. Yosef was also from the seed of David. Caesar Augustus issued a decree for a census which was the first of its kind that stated, everyone must return to his own town to be registered. This was done to stop the prophecy of the King who would come as the Mashiack. They wanted to kill any man that claimed to be the King foretold! What they didn’t know until later was that the prophecy was foretold about a King from ancient time coming in the form of a child that will be born in Beit’Lechem. Here are a few Tanakh Prophecies: In; Yesha’Yahu or Isaiah 7:14 Therefore Yahweh himself will give you a sign: (a virgin shall conceive) the young woman will become pregnant, bear a son and name him Immanu El (Yahweh with us). And in; Mikhah or Micah 5:2-3 He said, “but you, Beit-Lechem (which means “House of Bread”) near Efrat, so small among the clans of Y’hudah, out of you will come forth to me the future ruler of Yisra’el, whose origins are far in the past, back in ancient times. Therefore He will give up Yisra’el only until she who is in labor gives birth. Then the rest of His Kinsmen will return to the people of Yisra’el”. In; Tehillim or Psalm 132:17 I will make a King sprout there from David’s line and prepare a lamp for my anointed one. His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on Him there will be a shining crown. And Also in; Yirmeyahu or Jeremiah 23:5-6 “The days are coming,” says Yahweh when I will raise a righteous Branch for David. He will rain as King and succeed; He will do what is just and right in the land. In His days Y’hudah will be saved, Yisra.el will live in safety, and the name given to Him will be Yahweh Tzidkenu (Yahweh our righteousness). It was because of the new law that Yosef and Miryam of Nazareth “Natzeret” in Galilee “Galil” was forced to travel back to Bethlehem “Beit-Lechem” in Y’hudah to register during the time that Miryam was close to labor. Born in Beit-Lechem, Yahshua came to set the captives free (we of course are the captives) (freedom from our sins). Once reaching the age of 33 years of age in the flesh of man, Yahshua never sinned but He was willing to die on the cross for the remission of our sins. Yahshua was born between the end of March and the middle or end of April during the time of Passover “Pesach”. Yahshua came to give the rest of Yahweh’s plan to His people, the Jews (the children of Yisra’el; the seed of Avraham) so that they could have eternal life in His Fathers Kingdom. Even though Yahshua was healing the afflicted, and casting out demons along with many other miracles the Jews did not receive Him. Yahshua said this in; Luke 13:34-35 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’" Since the Jews didn’t accept Yahshua or Yahwey’s message; the Greeks, Gentiles, etc. who trusted and believed on Him became an inheritance to the Kingdom of Heaven by believing that He was everything He said He is, and walking in Yahweh’s ways. Yahshua cried out for the Jews that they might be saved before they crucified Him but they didn’t receive Him. It was during Pesach on a Friday of the Sabbath “Shabbat” day when they persecuted Yahshua and crucified Him on the cross until He died but three days later, He rose from the tomb. Yosef of Arimathaea buried Yahshua in the tomb and anointed His body with myrrh after they crucified Him but after wrapping His body, Roman soldiers were ordered to seal the tomb and remain there guarding the tomb with their life. They did this to prevent Yahshua’s followers from coming to still His body. On the third day while the Roman soldiers were still guarding the tomb, Yahshua rose up from the tomb and appeared to hundreds of people as proof that He is everything He said He was. Who is Yahshua? He is who the Prophets like Moses “Moshe”, Jacob “Ya’akov”, King David, Dani’el, Isaiah “Yesha’yah or Yesha’yahu”, Jeremiah “Yirmeyah”, Zechariah “Z’kharyah or Z’kharyahu”, Malachi “Mal’akhi”, and Micah “Mikhah” spoke about concerning the coming Mashiack! Yahwey had given the children of Yisra’el this, Sh’Mot or Exodus 3:8 And I am (I have) come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites “Kena’anit”, and the Hittites “Hitti”, and the Amorites “Emori”, and the Perizzites “P’rizi”, and the Hivites “Hivi”, and the Jebusites “Y’vusi” but because they worshiped other gods and rebelled against Him, He caused nations to come against them, and placed them back into bondage. That was the promise and punishment of Yahweh but Zion “Tziyon” would return back to their promised land, and Yahshua Mashiack will come to save them from the destruction that will come against Yisra’el in the end time when they turn back to Him. I believe this will take place in our century because of all the prophecies that Yahshua has spoken about have happened, and is happening now all around the world. In; Yechezk’el or Ezekiel 36:24 For I will take you from among the nations, gather you from all the countries, and return you to your own soil (land). In; Yechezk’el or Ezekiel 37:1-14 It speaks of the whole house of Tziyon being brought up out of their suffering (where they were once dead through the acts of genocide against the Jewish people) from the north, south, east, and west back to the land in which they were promised by Yahweh where they will know that He is God. Yesha’Yahu or Isaiah 66:7-8 before going into labor, she gave birth; before her pains came, she delivered a male child. Who ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such a thing? Is a country born in one day? Is a nation brought forth all at once? For as soon as Tziyon went into labor, she brought forth her children. The birth of the male child happened over 2,000 years ago but also the birth of a country happened less than a hundred years ago. On May 14, 1948, Yisra’el became a country in an instant. Since then the Jews have been returning home to the land that was given to them by Yahweh even unto this day and has become a nation again speaking in a forgotten language that was restored to them. Yisra’el, alone with the land surrounding it, is the only land that was given to a people by Yahweh. When Yahshua was born, the angels descended from Heaven proclaiming that the child will be to the people, “‘Immanu El, Yahweh with us”. Yahshua is not only for the whole house of Yisra’el but for the whole world. The reason why I’m not in the Jewish religion is simply; I wasn’t born a Jew although it would be great if I was because then I would be a Christian Jew; a Jew who believes in Yahshua Mashiack who is in the English language “Jesus Christ”. If the Jews took the time today to look at the whole evidence and compared everything that the Torah “Pentateuch”, and the Tanakh teaches, and compared it to the New Testament of the Holy Bible, they would see that everything prophesied from His birth to His death, and resurrection really happened! Yahshua Mashiack gave a comparison in this scripture to Yonah in the Holy Bible on what He was going to do concerning His resurrection; It says this in Yonah or Jonah 1:17 Yahweh prepared a huge fish to swallow Yonah; and Yonah was in the belly of the big fish for three days and three nights. And Yahshua said this in; Mattityahu or Matthew 12:40 for just as Yonah was in the belly of the big fish, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the depth of the earth. Yahshua had also given other sign in; Yochanan or John 2:18-22 which show what Yahshua said after the Judeans “Y’hudeans” confronted Him about showing them a sign and He said, “Destroy this Temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.” They thought Yahshua was talking about the Temple Mount but He was talking about His body. Yahshua rose on the third day from the tomb proving who He had claimed to be (the Son of the Living God). There are so many more prophecies that Yahshua fulfilled while He was in the flesh of man. To this day, no one else has ever come to fulfill everything prophesied by all the nevi’im of the Old Testament or Tanakh concerning the coming Mashiack. The Jews are still waiting for their Mashiack to come. They don’t realize that He came over 2,000 years ago the first time not to be the Mashiack or King for that time but that He would fulfill what Yahweh gave the nevi’im to write about concerning their Mashiack. The Jews could not understand why Yahweh would send His Son to suffer and die when He could just destroy their enemies but He had to redeem them first from their sins and the only way to do that was to keep His promise to Avramham. He had also revealed to his disciples that He will return as the Mashiack in the end time, and He will destroy those who are against the children of Yisra’el at that time. Yahshua told His followers to be ready when He comes the 2nd time because no man knows the day or the hour when He comes but the Almighty Father in Heaven “Yahweh”. After Yahshua had rose on the 3rd day He was seen by most of the women who were close to Him. He visited with all of His Apostils “Emissary”, and had shown Himself to over 500 people at one time after His resurrection from the dead. Yahshua could have come down from the cross, and He could have prevented them from taking Him but He knew we would all be lost in our sins if He did. I don’t ever want to visualize what this world would be like if Yahshua Mashiack had never come down from Heaven to give us Yahweh’s message. I can’t imagine a world without our Mashiack! I truly believe that this world would be in a much worse shape then anyone could ever imagine if He had never come. When you look at the Christians in what they have done to help humanity over the last few generations, you would see their heart felt love for those less fortunate that they were willing to sacrifice their own money, food, and time to help meet the needs of others. To this day Christians are doing even greater things then ever before in the whole history of Christianity, but none of these things could have ever been possible if it wasn’t for the love and teachings of Yahshua. He taught us to love our neighbor as we do ourselves. Some of the other things Christians are doing now are; helping the Jews return to Yisra’el, helping them set up residence after arriving to Yisra’el, feeding the starving Jews in different parts of the world, helping the elders who have very little to survive on keep their Jewish traditions, and setting up hospitals and clinics for the Jewish people who are in need of medical assistance to name a few. Christians believe in one God existing in three persons; Almighty Father in Heaven, His Son, and the Holy Spirit “Ruach Hakodesh”. It is difficult for many to understand how we could believe this way; One God existing in three persons! We believe this way because it is what the Word of God teaches. Let me give you a better understanding of how God is concerning this truth! Do you believe in the sun in the sky? What do we see shining from the sun? We see a light that’s strong enough to light up the world! What do we feel from the light? We feel warmth coming from the light! The sun, light, and warmth are three elements but they still are a part of the other. You can not separate the light from the sun just as you can’t separate the warmth from the light; they are still connected to the other. Two elements existing as one with the sun being the source from which they come from. That is the way it is with Yahweh, Yahshua Mashiack, and Ruach Hakodesh. They are three in one and can not be separated from the other. Yahshua came to help the Jews in their time of trouble; He healed suffering of sickness and disease, the lame, He cast out demonic spirits, and raised the dead. Yochanan or John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. And in; Tehillim or Psalm 107:20 He sent forth His Word and healed them; He rescued them from the grave. Jesus said this; Yochanan or John 14:10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work. Yochanan or John 8: 57-58 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Avraham was, I am. Here is what God said to Moses when he went up on the Mountain of God in; Sh’Mot or Exodus 3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Avraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. And in, Sh’Mot or Exodus 3:13-14 Moshe said to Yahweh, “Look, when I appear before the people of Yisra’el and say to them, ‘The God of your ancestors has sent me to you’; and they ask me, ‘What is His name?’ What am I to tell them? Yahweh said to Moshe, “Ehyeh Asher (I AM THAT I AM),”and He added, “Here is what to say to the people of Yisra’el; Ehyeh (I AM) has sent me to you.” 1 Yochanan or John 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) Revelation 19:13 He is dressed in a robe in blood, and His name is the Word of God. Yochanan or John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. He is Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End of all things, He is the first and will be the last, He is the God I Am; in which He says, I Am your strength, I Am your healer, I Am your provider, I Am your comforter, I Am your redeemer, I am your Savior, and I Am everything you need. Jesus told us that what ever we ask for in His name shall be given to us. He came to teach mankind how to seek the Kingdom of Heaven, and to take the sins of the world upon Himself so that we could have eternal life in Yahweh’s Kingdom when He comes again. He laid down His life for us but He had the power to raise it up again because all power is in His hands, and in three days exactly, He did. It says in; Yochanan or John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him should not perish but have ever lasting life. I pray that the Jews know Him before He comes the 2nd time, and that each one of the Jewish people search out the truth for his or herself by reading the Torah and the Tanakh containing to what all the nevi’im spoke of concerning the Mashiack. I pray that the Jews check out the report of Yahshua’s body not being found in the tomb that was guarded by the Roman soldiers in their own reports, and other resources through Roman history concerning Yahshua’s persecution, and the reports of everything the Romans wrote concerning the things Yahshua had done. I also pray that the Jews purchase a Complete Jewish Bible or a Holy Bible, and read it as a comparison to fine the truth. Shalom! “Peace!” May Yahweh bring Shalom to Israel!
I'm not a Muslim because they believe in the God; Allah of Muhammad. I respect the fact that they believe in one God but they don't believe in the God; Yahweh of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Please don't think that I'm saying that Muslims don't believe in Abraham, Issac, and Jacob or all the prophets of old because they do! ?They even believe in Jesus "Isa or Iesa"?(Isa is the name they use in the Arabic language but it is not the same as His original name, YESHUA while He was here on earth.)! ?Muslims even believe that He is the Messiah and the Christ but they don't take Him at His Word when He said He is the Son of God. ?It is their belief that Allah has no son. ?Allah may not but Yahweh does whom was also His Servant whom He sent to teach mankind! ?Leviticus 26:12-13?I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.??I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, that you should not be their slaves; I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you walk upright.??John 5:24-27?"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My Word and believes in Him who sent Me has Everlasting Life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into Life.? Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.??For as the Father has Life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have Life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. ?Muslims even believe in the comforter but they believe that the comforter is their prophet Muhammad. If that is true, then we should see evidence of scripture saying that the Comforter is a man. John 14:15-17?"If you love me you will obey what I command.??And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Comforter to be with you forever - the Spirit of Truth.??The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him.??But you know him for he lives with you and will be in you."? John 14:25, 26?"All this I have spoken while still with you.??But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."??John 15:26?"When the Comforter comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me."??John 16:7-8?"But I tell you the truth:??It is for your good that I am going away.??Unless I go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.??When he comes he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment...."??John 16:13-15?"But when He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you into all truth.??He will not speak on His own, He will speak only what he hears, and He will tell you what is yet to come.??He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you.??All that belongs to the Father is Mine.??That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is Mine and make it known to you." It is obvious that these scriptures are not talking about a man but a Spirit from Yahweh; Almighty God. Yahweh has many sons but only one who comes from the bosom of the Almighty God! John 1:18?"No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son,?who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared?Him."?Jesus is speaking here in John 3:16-18?"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ?For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ?He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."?John 16:26-28?"In that day you will ask in My name, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the Father for you;?for the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me, and have believed that I came forth from God.?I came forth from the Father and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world and go to the Father." ?There are no scriptures of Jesus saying that He was created by His Heavenly Father; the Almighty God but scriptures all agree that He is the Son of God who came forth from the Father! This is just a portion of why I choose not to be a Muslim! Ishmael, the first son of Abraham believed in Yahweh. ?Yahweh said he will raise 12 princes from Ishmael's seed, and Ishmael and his seed will be blessed as seen in Genesis 17:20?"And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation."? When you look at the whole nation of Islam today, you can see that this prophecy has come to fulfillment. Muslims truly believe in only one God, and the One true God is worthy to be worshiped but Muhammad has given him the name Allah (the Muslim God). They believe he is the Creator, the Sustainer, the Lord of Heaven and of earth, and all that exist in it. But why not make peace with Isra'el? Why is their so much bitterness between Islam and Isra'el? When I watch the world news, I see that Israel is the one trying to make peace but the other side will not unless the Israelis give up Israel. Even if they were to, I suspect there want be any peace. Instead, Islam will become the new power, and world religion for all to follow. Those who don't, well just read Surah 9 of the Quran! Muslims say, obedience to Allah brings peace just as the word Islam means "peace". The true meaning for Islam is not "peace" but "surrender or submission to the will of Allah and his messenger while the word Muslim mean surrender and submission to the one true Creator. Muslims believe, and teach, "There is no God except Allah; and Muhammad is His Messenger". Muslims recognize the prophets of old, and they believe Muhammad was the last prophet of God. They respect Jesus but they treat Him as if He was just one of the other prophets! There is no distinction between the prophets and Jesus Christ according to Surah 2.136 "Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allâh and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibrâhim (Abraham), Ismâ'il (Ishmael), Ishâque (Isaac), Ya'qûb (Jacob), and to Al-Asbât [the twelve sons of Ya'qûb (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Mûsa (Moses) and 'Iesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islâm)." If Muslims were to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, it would be as if they called the Qur'an a false teaching, and would be committing "shirk". Any Muslim that does can lose their life if they were over in the Islamic land which is another reason why I'm not a Muslim! Muhammad lived from 570-632 and is the founder of the Qur'an (the Muslim's Holy Book). Muhammad was a businessman through his wife Khadijah (Khadija earned two titles:?Ameerat-Quraysh, Princess of Quraysh, and?al-Tahira, the Pure One because of her wealth and generous heart), and managed a caravan that transported goods to Syria. Over time, Muhammad earned a reputation for his honesty and kindness. In the year 610, he made many retreats to Mount Hira to meditate in privacy. Allegedly what happened in Islamic history, Muhammad heard the voice of Jibreel (whom they say was Gabriel; the Ark Angel) who spoke to him with the word of Allah. He told Muhammad that there is only one true God and that all other gods are false, and that he "Muhammad" must spread the word. During the course of his life, Muhammad received many messages from Allah through Jibreel. These messages revealed many details regarding Allah's wishes, and advice. They eventually were written down in the Qur'an. As short, Allah's revelation to Muhammad formed the basis of Islam. There is a different acknowledgement of this story written in the Hadis (Hadith writings) (specifically in 'Sahih Bukhuri, Volume 9, Book 87, and Number 111: Narrated by Aisha). I can't help but be suspicious of how they came across their religion! Around 595 A.D., during the time they were reconstructing the Black Stone Wall, at a major worship ceremony, there were suppose to be more Qurayshis people but only four showed up. Seizing the opportunity, the Jews and Christians became bolder in proclaiming their faiths, and others converted to other faiths and stopped worshipping idols. For instance, Khadijah's cousin Waraqah converted to Christianity and is reported to have translated Christian texts into Arabic. And another of Khadijah's cousins also converted over to Christianity. It could have been for this reason that Muhammad feared losing his people to a foreign religion, and I also believe that it was during this time when Muhammad learned more about Christianity, and received the idea to create the holy book (Qur'an) for his people to follow with the knowledge he gained. In Makkah, many Mekkans became hostile because of Muhammad's preaching against the pagan gods and therefore threatening their way of life. After years passed, the Muslims grew slow, and tension grew stronger that they could no longer be protected. A lot of them were tortured and killed because they refused to continue believing in the pagan gods that were made by man's hands. In 615 A.D., Muhammad's followers fled to Abyssina (Ethiopia) hoping to receive protection from Negus, the Christian king. While the followers of Muhammad were in Abyssina, the Christian king offered them refuge because of Muhammad's preaching against the worshiping of idols in the Ka'bah near (Macca) Makkah Mukarramah. The Christian king didn't know he was being misled by Muhammad's followers thinking that they believed in the same God Christians believed in and in Yeshua Ha'Mashiak (Jesus Messiah or Christ) being the Son of God so his heart went out to them because they gave up all their other gods for one God. Eventually, that same king became a Muslim. In 630 A.D., Mekkah fell to the Muslims. Strategically, Muhammad ordered a general amnesty for all Mekkans, which won their loyalty and, within a short time, Mekkah became an Islamic city. In 631, Muhammad made a deal with the local Christians and Jews to bring them under Muslim protection. A year later in June of 632 A.D. Muhammad died of illness which was caused by poison (See Sahih Bukhari: Volume 3, Book 47, Number 786 Narrated by Anas bin Malik; Volume 4, Book 53, Number 394 Narrated by Abu Huaira; and Volume 5, Book 59, Number 713 Narrated by Ibn Abbas). There are other speculations of Muhammad's death but the fact is he died and is still in his grave but Yeshua Ha'Messiah "Jesus Christ" ascended back to Heaven and was seen by many after His crucifixion. Although He is not on earth anymore, the Holy Spirit of God is, and He lives within anyone who invites Him into their heart. This is Jesus speaking to his Apostles; John 14:15-29 "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Comforter to be with you forever- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you comfortless; I will come to you. Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?" Jesus replied, "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These Words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. "All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. "You heard me say, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe." I can't help but question Muhammad's story of how he flew on a horse! The story goes like this; "Praise be to Him who took His servant by night from the sacred mosque in Mecca to the most distant mosque, whose environs we did bless, so that we might show him some of our signs, for He is the All-Hearing and All-Seeing One." "Night Journey": One night while Muhammad was asleep, in Ramadan; a voice from heaven called out to him with the command, "Recite, Recite, Recite! Or "Read, Read in the name of the lord, the creator, who created man of a clot of blood. Read!" Your lord is most gracious! It is he who taught man by the pen that which he does not know!" It is claimed to be the Angel Jibreel (whom Muslims agree is Gabriel) who recited the three verses to him. When he awoke, he said that the three verses were inscribed in his heart. Muhammad, accompanied by the angel Gabriel, flew on the back of a winged, horse-like creature to Jerusalem to visit the temple that was built by King Solomon (who, by the way, is also considered to be one of the prophets by the Muslims alone with Ishmael). At the Temple, Muhammad prayed with Abraham, Moses and Jesus. This is very questionable because I'm sure that Jesus would have revealed to him concerning Himself that He is the Son of God, and that He is the only way into the Kingdom of Heaven! Muhammad was then carried up to heaven by Gabriel, where Muhammad met God. Because of this trip, Muslims consider Jerusalem to be the third most holy city, after Mekkah and Medina. Whommm! Sounds to far fetched, and I can see why the Muslims really want Jerusalem and all the land that belongs to Isra'el! During the Night Journey, Muhammad was told to inform several tenets that he incorporated into the basis of Islam to have all Muslims pray five times a day. I know Muslims who follow Muhammad's teachings really believe that they are praying to God (the creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is within it), and I think it's great that they pray 5 times a day but I don't believe that they are praying to the one true God who created everything in existence. Here is my further reason why I can't follow the Muslim religion! If they did believe in the God who created everything, they would make peace instead of war with Isra'el and the United States of America because Jesus Christ said to "love you neighbor as yourself". There are too many questionable circumstances concerning Muhammad, and the story behind how he was inspired to establish the Qur'an. I find the Qur'an itself to be distrustful because it has so many similar writings to the Tanakh (the Torah, and the Prophet Writings), and the Holy Bible (which comes from the Tanakh, the Writings of the Apostles, and other Disciples of Jesus Christ) but its focus is on the teachings of Islam. Muhammad was a mortal man not divine who considered himself to be a prophet like Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. I have not seen any real proof that Muhammad was a prophet. Most Muslims recognize Muhammad as being a prophet because of the things he had allegedly claimed would occur. When you compare his claims to all the prophecies that the prophets in the Jewish and Christian scriptures wrote about, you will find that anyone of us could easily make the same claims. By doing so we would ultimately come to the same conclusion because it was already foretold but worded differently. When you read the Muslim's holy book, it appears as if they pulled their information from the Tanakh and the Holy Bible and interweaved it into the Qur'an to cater to the Islamic teachings. In the Qur'an, Allah does not promise salvation from hell "hades" to all Muslims. Surah 19.71-72 "Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. But we shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees." (Also see: Sahih Muslim, Book 001,?Number 0349 concerning hell) What's disturbing to me is this next statement from one of the main Hadith sources: "Abu Musa' reported that Allah's Messenger said: When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim?a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your RESCUE from Hell-Fire." (Sahih Muslim, Book 037,?Number 6665) I don't need to tell you that the number 666 bother me of how it's intertwine with that statement! Even when Muhammad's followers came to him about that, and he claimed that he didn't even know where he would go; to Heaven or hell! We can clearly see Muhammad's uncertainty when we read Surah 46.8-9. If you'd notice, that's one of the main reasons why Muslims say "sallallahu alayhi wasallam" (Peace be upon him) to their prophet Muhammad according to Surah 33.56. All these things are also verified by the Hadis (Hadith; the leaders whom Muhammad commands his followers to turn to in order to understand their history, and the Qur'an). The Tanakh and the Holy Bible both mention numerous times about hell and how to avoid going their by walking in the righteousness of God "Yahweh; Almighty Father in Heaven". The Holy Bible also teaches that the only way to get into the Kingdom of Heaven is through Yeshua Ha'Messiah "Jesus Christ". Jesus and His Apostles made it very clear that the only way to get into the Kingdom of God is through Him who came from Heaven. John 14:6 [Jesus speaking] "I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the father, but by me". Acts 4:12 [Peter telling the crowd about Jesus] "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." 1 John 2:23 "Whosoever denies the Son, the same have not the Father: (but) he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also." Romans 5:21 "That as sin have reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto Eternal Life by Jesus Christ our Lord." 1 John 5:11 "And this is the record, that God have given to us Eternal Life, and this Life is in His Son." When you look at the World News, CNN, BBC, CBN, etc. you find that the Muslim leaders in the Holy lands do not allow the freedom to believe what you want when it comes down to their religious belief; there are many who have been cast out and killed by family members because they have convert over to Christianity. Muslims who know that they are following a false religion have to keep silent or flee from their home land because they fear for their life. The radical Islamic, despise anything that isn't Muslim! They don't want peace even though the Qur'an teaches it! They live and die for war, and they slaughter innocent Christian Sudanese by the thousands forcing them to convert over to the Islamic faith or die. They abduct women who are Christian or who are in other religions to accept Islam, and force them to marry other men who are Muslims. They bring up their own children as well as their women to be Ginny pigs as suicide bombers but they refuse to do it themselves. Anyone who looks deep into all expect of the Muslim religion could see clearly that it contradicts "peace". They are waiting for the right time to destroy Israel, and the USA because they look at us as being the big Satan. With a religion like that, they couldn't pay me a billion dollars to follow after it! These are not only my thoughts; all you have to do is turn on the world news and stay tuned in and you will see that I'm speaking the truth. Please don't think that all Muslims are hateful towards Christians and Jews because many are not! In fact I know many Muslims who have a good heart and would do anything for their neighbors. I believe they would be that way even if Muhammad did not command them to do those things. It just would have been great if Allah and Muhammad would have made the Qur'an clear so that other Muslims would not take Surah 9.29 literally when it talks about fighting those who don't believe in Allah and his messenger or the last day! It even follows up to point out exactly who it's referring to. These are not my books or information that I developed but are from real Muslim sources as well as biblical references! I love Muslims, and I pray that every Muslim's eyes will one day be opened to the truth of what God really want for them so that they to can have Yeshua Ha' Mashiak; "Jesus the Messiah" or "Jesus Christ" as their Lord and Savior. I don’t believe in Darwinism! Charles Robert Darwin born February 12, 1809 and died April 19, 1882, was a prominent biologist in which wrote the book,“The Origin of Species” in 1859. Darwin was inspired by Thomas Malthus. In 1876 Darwin wrote this saying, “In October 1838, that is, fifteen months after I had begun my systematic inquiry, I happened to read for amusement Malthus on “Population”, and being well prepared to appreciate the struggle for existence which everywhere goes on for long-continued observation of the habits of animals and plants, it at once struck me that under these circumstances favorable variations would tend to be preserved, and unfavorable ones to be destroyed. The results of this would be the formation of new species. Here then I had got the theory by which to work”. Thomas Malthus born in1766-1834 formulated the theory of “Natural Selection”. Malthus was a political economist who was concerned about what he saw as the decline of living conditions in 19th century England. He blamed this decline on 3 elements: (1) The overproduction of the young; (2) The inability of resources to keep up with the rising human population; and (3) The irresponsibility of the lower classes. Malthus suggested that the family size of lower class should be regulated so that the poor families do not produce more children than they can support. Malthus’s observation was that in nature plants and animals produce far more offspring than what can survive, and that man too is capable of overproducing if left unchecked. He concluded that unless family size was regulated, man’s misery of famine would become globally epidemic and will eventually consume mankind. Malthus’ view that poverty and famine were natural outcomes of population growth and food supply was not popular among social reformers who believed that with social structure, all ills of man could be eradicated. Although Malthus thought of famine and poverty’s natural outcomes, his ultimate reason for those outcomes was divine intervention. He believed that such natural outcomes were God’s way of preventing man from being lazy. This tells me that Malthus believed in a Divine Higher Power. There are several theories that form the basis of Darwinism such as Evolution, Common Descent, Gradualism, Natural Selection, and Multiplication of Species. I want go deep into explaining Darwinism because it would take too long but I will give a brief explanation starting with Evolution. Evolution’s theory is that the world is not constant! The world is not recently created! The world is not constantly cycling but rather changing steadily! Organisms are transformed into time! Common Descent’s theory is that all groups of organisms descended from a common ancestor! All groups of organisms; including animals, plants, and microorganisms, ultimately go back to a single origin of life on earth! Gradualism’s theory is that evolutionary change takes place through the gradual change of population and not by sudden change. Natural Selection’s theory is that in every generation, evolutionary change comes on through the abundant production of genetic variation. Those relatively people who survive, adapted a combination of inheritable character that give rise to the next generation. The Multiplication of Specie’s theory is the origin of organic variety or diversity! It claims that species multiply, either by splitting into daughter species or by budding through the establishment of original geographically isolated populations that evolved into new species. Darwin was baptized as an Anglican Christian. In 1848 of November, Darwin’s father dies so he goes to his funeral but he arrives too late. He believed in God during his time of youth and almost became an Anglican clergyman but later in 1849 at the age of 40 years old he renounce God, and anything relating to God. Charles Darwin’s rejection of the Bible was because he had loss all comfort from it. In 1851, two years after his decision to give up on a Higher Divine Power, Charles wrote in later letters of his dearly loved daughter Annie, age 10, died from what the attending physician called a “Bilious Fever with typhoid characters.” Darwin had taken Annie to Malvern where she died on March 23, 1851. Charles was devastated when he wrote, “Our only consolation is that she passed a short, though joyous life.” He said to a friend who had lost a child, “time, which softens and deadens one’s feelings and regrets!” Clearly, we can see that Charles Darwin had come to his reasoning because of trials or dark times in his life! Charles chose to become an agnostic because of these instances. Ten years after his renouncing God, Darwin wrote the book on “The Origin of Species”! He also wrote other books like “Descent of Man” in 1871, “The Expression of the Emotions in Man and Animals” in 1872, and his final book “The Formation of Vegetable Mould through the Action of Worms” in 1881. Darwin made it clear to the end on where his faith lied! On August 19, 1915 according to the Boston’s “Watchman Examiner” (Serials in Religion and Theology on the University of British Columbia Campus), a national Baptist paper covered the story on Darwin’s last days. It mentioned that around September of 1881, Lady Hope spoke with Darwin when she saw him reading a Bible hoping that he would recant evolution and accept God back into his life. Also in 1955 the story was republished in several magazines that he did recant but in the end, his daughter Henrietta had claimed even if Lady Hope did come to him during that time she wasn’t there on his death bad because he remained unmovable even to the end that he still stood by what he wrote. I choose to not believe as a Darwinian because of the many holes in the theories of Darwinism. Even the Scientist behind close doors appears to be confused as they ask question after question. Many Scientist are taught in today’s time that in order to be a scientist, they can not believe or mention about a higher divine power. There are many scientist, archaeologist, astrologist, historians, biologist, etc. who has come to the conclusion that after improved technology, and their long research studies, Evolution can only make since if there is a Divine Higher Power who caused the creation of all that exist. There are so much involved in the Darwin’s theory that it would take a book to mention it all. After I have researched “Darwinism”, I’ve concluded that all of its teachings are made up on partial truths, and theories. This can only lead to man believing in man! I know that life has taught us that there are many faults in mankind’s behavior. We can clearly see that globally! Man as we know it, are born into this world incapable of knowing or learning all things but are capable of learning many things. Each one of us has a choice in what we learn in this world! If I was to believe in Darwinism, I believe it would only cause me to go by my own morality (what I think is right or wrong by my standards). I can truly say that in my more youthful years, I did go by my own morality which caused me to make a lot of unwanted mistakes in my life. I learned much later that this morality was not only my morality but man’s morality. Man’s morality can easily convince mankind to follow its ways because it is the way of man. It allows mankind to do what ever is pleasing to us regardless of the consequences. It is like a father allowing his son to do what ever he wants to do because it’s what makes his child happy. If a child at the age of 2 years old with wet hands spots an electric cord plugged into an outlet, should the father just watch his son grab the cord and risk him to be electrocuted because it looked fun to play with to the child or should the father with authority say to his son, “NO!” to catch his attention quickly and warn him with a light tap on his hand not to do it again? That is the way it is with God and mankind! We are in so many ways like that child in need of guidance from a Divine Higher Power (God). Without God, we are all capable of making many unwanted mistakes and regrets. God always gives us warnings in many ways such as; through our conscious, through our dreams or through people. Most of the times we choose to ignore the warnings God sends us because of our own selfish behaviors. We want things regardless if it’s good for us or not and because of our choices, we have to go through trials. I have found that trials can only make you stronger if you choose not to give up. There will always be trails in our life to see where we will stand in the end, and Charles Darwin made his choice when his trials suddenly came upon him. The Holy Bible (The Written Word of God) clearly shows mankind everything possible in order to live on this planet we call earth. It teaches about; family, marriage, how to raise our children, how children should honor their parents, how parents should honor their children, about loving one another and even loving our enemies, treating others how you wan to be treated, how we should eat to avoid sickness and disease, sex in marriage, sin, and salvation, etc. The Holy Bible has withstood time even though agnostics, and atheist who have for centuries tried to pick it a part but have all fail in their attempts. Out of all the books in the world, why is this one constantly growing throughout the world? Why has it been translated in so many languages for many different cultures to learn and obtain victory in the Word of God? Why are all who seek the truth claim that the Spirit of God speaks through to their spirit as they grow in the Word of God? I can only conclude through the evidence in my life that God truly does exist because He revealed Himself to me spiritually, and in many ways manifested it into the physical realm where it can also be seen through the things He has done in my life. The proof of God’s existence is so evident that it is pointless for me to not believe all the evidence around us. It would take more faith for me to disbelieve God’s existence then it would to believe God’s existence.
Although there are so many more Isms such as; atheism (they don’t believe in God), agnosticism (they don’t believe that God can be proven so they don’t know what to believe), heathenism (they are heathens who believe in pagan worship; idolatry, barbaric morals or behavior, irreligion), baha’ism (practice of babism with some attitudes of the Islamic Shi’a sect but with an emphasis on tolerance and essential worth of all religions), satanism (they worship satan; anti-Christ), gentilism (non-Jewish, heathen or pagan). This subject is to wide spread for me to cover but for those who say, “I refuse to believe in something I can’t see!” Do you believe in air? We can’t see air but yet we depend on it! We simply can’t do without air, and nothing on earth living can survive without it. That is how it is with God! We can’t live without Him because He’s all around us. “To not understand this truth is to not seek the truth!”
I am a Christian! What is a Christian, and what does it mean to be a one? Christianity; is to believe by faith that Jesus Christ is everything He said He is, it is when you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, it’s when you do the things Jesus did, it is when you live a righteous life for God, and it’s when you’re willing to lay down your life for Jesus Christ as He did for us as we do the work of God. There are many people who claim to be Christians because they have accepted Jesus into their life. They pray most of the time; one to three times daily and have been baptized but they fail to live their life for God! They read the Holy Bible when the Pastor says to open up their Bible to such and such book, chapter and verse but may only open it up at home when they have nothing else better to do once or twice a month! Some never go to Church, some go to Church on Easter Sunday and around Christmas, some may go to Church one to four times a month but they still like to party, have sex out of wedlock, smoke drugs, drink, use profanity, gossip behind others back, falsely accuse others, can’t forgive those who have wrong them regardless of how horrific the crime was, have hate in their heart, and are envious of others, etc.! Jesus spoke of the priest in the Sanhedrin acting godly on the outside but being hypocrites; they appear clean outwardly but are unclean on the inside! Jesus warned them that it would be better for them if they had never hard the Word of God then to have received it and not walk in it. The Word of God is found in the; Holy Bible, Tanakh “Torah”, Apocrypha, Septuagint, and Dead Sea Scrolls. We have all fallen short of God’s perfect plan for our lives because He gave us choice. We have the choice to choose GOOD over evil! What does it mean to be a righteous Christian, and how do we become one? A righteous Christian must be like a good Soldier Commander in the Army; he must know who his enemy is, where the enemy is coming from, what tactics the enemy uses to attack with, and what strategies and weapons are needed to use against the enemy in order to defeat him. We have all sinned because we were born into sin therefore we became addicted to sin but the only escape from it is through the love of Jesus Christ. We must learn what the whole Armor of God is in order to put it on and use it against the prince of darkness, and his demonic spirits! To be a sinner is to be a slave to sin! In order for us to become a Christian, we would have to first believe by faith that Jesus Christ is everything He said He is, and then accept Him into our life as our Lord and Savior. Secondly we have to know that we are not saved by the Law of God or by any works that we do but by the Grace of God. That grace is the blood that was shad when Jesus Christ laid down His life and sacrificed it on the cross for the remission of sin because He loves us, and then we must surrender our life to Him! When we surrender to Christ, it’s simply saying that we are in desperate need of God’s strength and guidance to resist sin in order to walk in His ways! What is sin? Sin is; criminal behavior; a lie, murder, sex out of wedlock, adultery, gambling for money, taking or selling drugs, drinking strong drink “alcohol”, prostitution, etc. but God doesn’t want us to stay in our sin so He sent His only begotten son to save us from it. Thirdly, we must be baptized in water and filled with the Holy Spirit, and live the rest of our life for Jesus Christ as we study the Word of God daily and then we would be a righteous Christian if we remain committed to God. When we pray, read, and study the Word of God, it causes a transformation which begins manifesting from within and as we continue a growing relationship with our Heavenly Father, that manifestation protrudes outward where everyone around us can see the new person we’ve become. There are many paths to hell which is why the roads are wide but only one road to the Kingdom of Heaven though few may find it; Jesus Christ is the only way! God in heaven is the head of my life in whom I trust, and in whom I am afraid because God assure us that there’s a place for those who chose not to believe, and remain in their sins! Our flesh will one day die but our spirit “soul” will live forever and we have a choice of where we choose to live after the flesh and blood is gone. Jesus Christ is the Master and protector of my soul. When I mentioned, “In whom I am afraid” I simply meant I’d rather have God on my side than to have Him against me. God is truly my greatest friend and without Him I can do nothing. In the past, it has been extremely difficult to function without God being first so over the years I have learned to put Him first, and as head of my life! I know now that doing righteous deeds alone will not save my soul but how I choose to live now here on earth will determine where I’ll spend eternity. I chose not to disregard the Word of God after hearing, reading, and learning the truth! I worship, and pray to God in Heaven, and what I ask or pray for I ask in Jesus Christ Holy name. I don’t believe that this great world and everything in it just happened by chance! I’m not one to believe that everything in the universe just is or that it grew into existence by it’s self without God’s hand in it! I believe in one God, not gods with the exemption of the human race! I do believe that we as a human race of people regardless of ethnicity are gods. Why would I say that? Well let’s just say that on the 6th day of creation God did something very remarkable; God decided to make man in Their image. What? Why did I say Their? Here are the answers to those two questions! After God had created the world and everything in it, He had to design a creation that would be made over all things created by Him. This is what it says in; Genesis 1: 26-28 And God said; Let us make man in our image after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in His image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. And God blessed them and said unto them be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. That is the power that God has given us! When God created man and woman at this point, they were created as spirit life only. We were designed like God but on a lower level! It says in Genesis 2: 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. This is the flesh or body that God breathed the spirit of man into in order to give it life. Psalm 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth. We look like God and have the traits of God! If we are made in God’s image and likeness, and is given authority over the earth, what does this mean? It means that we have the power to make or destroy, to have war or peace, to choose right or wrong, to be selfish or selfless, to be takers or givers, to live a negative or a positive life, etc. God gave to man the ability to choose! We have the power to speak things into existence if we choose to believe, and we can draw positive or negative things to ourselves so we must be mindful of the things we say! God new that our generation would question His existence, and all the things He had done so He left plenty of evidence behind so that the world could see the truth. The Holy Bible is the proof and truth of God but also the truth can be seen in Israel, Rome, Greece, Egypt, Southwest Asia, and other parts of Holy land’s history but also in the Tanakh, in the Jewish people (the Israelites; God’s chosen people) as well as the whole Christian movement all around the world, the Shroud of Turin (the Shroud of Jesus Christ), the Septuagint, and the Dead Sea Scrolls to name a few. What is the Septuagint? Sometimes abbreviated as LXX, it is the name given in the Greek translation of the Jewish Scriptures. The Septuagint has its origin in Alexandria, Egypt and was translated between 300-200 BC. The Septuagint, a Greek translation shaped since the many Hellenistic Jews were widely spread throughout the empire and was beginning to lose their Hebrew language. The translation from Hebrew to Greek also gave many non-Jews a glimpse into Judaism. The term “Septuagint” means seventy in Latin, and the text was a credit of the 70 scholars. The Septuagint was also a source of the Old Testament for early Christians during early century AD. The New Testament writers also relied heavily on the Septuagint. The Septuagint contains the standard 39 books of the Old Testament Canon as well as certain apocryphal books. The term "Apocrypha" was coined together by a fifth-century Biblical scholar named St. Jerome, and it universally refers to the ancient Jewish writings which were written during the last book of the Jewish scriptures between Malachi, and the arrival of Jesus Christ. The apocryphal books include Judith, Tobit, Baruch, Sirach or Ecclesiasticus, the Wisdom of Solomon, First and Second Maccabees, the two Books of Esdras, additions to the Book of Esther, additions to the Book of Daniel, and the Prayer of Manasseh. The Septuagint and the Dead Sea Scrolls establish a very remarkable piece of evidence for Christianity that the Old Testament prophecies of the coming Messiah unquestionably predated the time that Jesus Christ walked the earth. Despite time, persecution, and the unbelievably minor occurrences of scribal mistakes, the Septuagint is just another example of how the Biblical text has stayed faithful in its epistles and theme. The Holy Bible is truly a divinely inspired and preserved letter from God that it is exceedingly deserving of our time and attention. Messianic prophecy is the collection of over 100 predictions in the Old Testament about the future Messiah of the Jewish people. These predictions were written numerous times by many authors in the Tanakh for hundreds of years long before the Messiah had come. Messianic Prophecy is so impressive today since the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and the reliability of the Septuagint version of the Old Testament, both of which have been proven to exist prior to the time Jesus walked on the earth. Mostly all of the Messianic prophecies were fulfilled by Jesus Christ. Although many Jews did not accept Jesus as their Messiah, many did, and they became the Jewish faction later known as the Christians. Christianity has spread rapidly throughout the 1st Century Roman Empire and is a remarkable part of fulfillment in historical prophecy. The Dead Sea Scrolls were initially discovered by Bedouin Herders and then by archaeologists between 1947 and 1956 in 11 caves near Khirbet Qumran, on the northwestern shores of the Dead Sea in Israel. Thousands of fragments were discovered and pieced together into over 900 separate documents including Biblical books, hymns, prayers, and other important writings. The Dead Sea Scrolls date from 250 BC to 68 AD. Among them are some 230 Biblical manuscripts representing nearly every book in the Hebrew Bible; more than 1000 years older than any previously known copies. There are also Apocryphal manuscript texts that are excluded from the Biblical Canon; New Testament of the Holy Bible. There are many denominations in Christianity. Although I’m registered as a Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) member, I don’t focus on our denomination even though I agree with the majority of its teachings. As a Christian I have to keep God first and above all things in my life, and I must keep my eyes fixed on Him. The reason why I said, “I agree with the majority of its teachings” is because there are some thing I know we need to improve when it comes down to the entire Christian Church movement with the exemption of the Catholic Church when pertaining to the following church groups; COGIC, Baptist, Church of Christ, and Non-Denominational Church groups, etc. I truly believe that the Church groups and organizations mentioned need to improve in the following area: Holy Communion “The Lord’s Supper”, and having a greater respect for the Church “God’s Sanctuary”. The Lord’s Supper is the regularly repeated celebration of Jesus Christ, and His great love for us that He was willing to sacrifice His life for mankind through the shading of His blood for the remission of our sins. When we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we are also giving thanks to God for His grace and mercy, thanking God for His forgiveness of sins, healing, strength, and peace in our heart, etc. It says in; Romans 11:23-26 "For I recieved from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night that he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said,"This is my body which is broken for you. Do this in rememberance of me.' In the same manner he took the cup, after supper, saying,'This is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in rememberance of me.' For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes." I am thankful for being able to take part in the Lord’s Supper but am dismayed that it is only made available once a month during one service although we have two services. Everyone who comes to the 2nd service can’t receive the Lord’s Supper since it isn’t made available for those attendees, and I truly sense that once a month to God is not very often at all! If we are able to receive the Lord’s Supper, it should be made available to both services and therefore not punishing those who are unable to attend the one service due to a bad work schedule but I acknowledge that this decision can only be made available by the leaders of the Church or denomination. Evangelical Christians have a bad habit of coming late and leaving early to Church when we feel like it. I really admire the Catholic’s on their respect for their Sanctuary when entering before being seated for service. They treat it as they should; “Holy unto God”! During the ancient days of old, the Israelites had to treat the things of God very Sacred which showed their great respect for God; and that’s the way we need to be as righteous Christians. What does this all mean to me? I am a servant of God. My students are a positive group of people who always try to serve me in different ways but I live also to serve them just as Jesus served His disciples, and Jesus disciples served Him. If Jesus being who He is can serve His disciples and even cleaning their dirty feet, we can truly reach out to help and serve other in the same manner to help make this world a better place. Living to serve God and living to help and serve others just as Jesus did! Please don’t take this offensively just because this is my belief! God gave us all the ability to choose for ourselves on how we want to believe. I made my choice years ago that as I developed my school, I will put God first before my school and before myself. Although these are my beliefs, I don’t enforce them upon my students to believe or think this way! Again, God gives us the freedom to make choices in what we think, feel, and do so why would I try to do other wise? I can only say this in conclusion; my door is always open to my students and anyone else who’s interested in seeking the path that I’ve chosen. I am willing to help be a guide for anyone wanting to change their life for the better.
